Treasure Hunt for Secondary Schools
This activity has been designed by members of Stockport Normandy Veterans Legacy to challenge you to find out more about Stockport’s links with the armed forces. It is a QR based Trail that uses What3Words as location references and you will have to answer quiz questions to be able to progress to the next location. It is a circuit of 2.5 miles and will take you between one and two hours in total to complete. If you wished you could set yourself a time target at the start to see if you can meet it – or complete it more quickly.
You will need a phone that scans QR codes; What3Words app; and sufficient battery life on your mobile phone.
Please be aware that this Trail involves crossing busy roads. Care should be taken at all times to cross safely, using designated pedestrian crossings when these are available (and always on the A6 Wellington Road).

If you do the Trail you will need to get into various buildings. The opening hours are:
Saturday 10 am – 5 pm
Sunday 11 am – 4 pm
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday 1 pm – 5 pm
Wednesday 1 pm – 5 pm
Thursday 1 pm – 5 pm
Friday 1 pm – 5 pm
If you do the Trail at a different time, some quiz questions can be accessed without going into the buildings.
